About

A graduate from Ball State University, Indiana, Brandon has always been passionate about the arts and media.  During his study at Ball State University, he has actively been involved in Emmy Award winning WCRH, university news station as well as producing his own talk shows around the campus.  As a member of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and Japan Club, his active involvement in community led him into winning a scholarship to Study Abroad program in Japan.  During his one-year stay at Sapporo University in Hokkaido, Brandon has written 2 news articles in Japanese and became fluent in Japanese.

After graduation in 2002, with degrees in both Broadcasting and Japanese, he moved to Los Angeles where he pursued his love for broadcasting and media.  However his efforts did not lead him into broadcasting studios.  Instead, he worked for an aerospace / semiconductor industry for 5 years as a technical buyer.

In 2008, he decided to leave his job and fully commit to something that he has always been passionate about – art and media.  Instead of settling in with either the arts or the media, Brandon found his perfect match to do both when he found out about Gnomon School of Visual Effects.

During his study at Gnomon, Brandon’s success and reputation as a CG artist quickly grew in recognition.  Within 6 months of study, he won his first award – Best of Term – as a CG artist and then later on winning grand prize.  Brandon enjoyed the achievement he received from the awards, however he is most proud of his reputation amongst his fellow peers as the hardest working artist with humility.

In the summer of 2010 Brandon completed his study at Gnomon School of Visual Effects, specializing in CG lighting & rendering and is ready to take on new challenges.
